Welcome to Central Avenue Meats, Great Falls' highest-quality retail butcher shop! We specialize in grass-fed, dry-aged beef and pastured, heritage-breed pork all sourced from local ranchers within 60 miles of our shop.
Kid's Corner
One of the most fun aspects of our shop, is the kid's corner, which gives parents the chance to focus on choosing the best option, while the kids get to play nearby. Featuring a chalkboard, photo magnets, a toy grill, and bouncy animals, your kids will be entertained while we work to choose the best option for your meal!
Our Cooler
What makes our beef cooler so different than a normal grocery store? The beef! We don't buy boxed, pre-packaged primal cuts like the larger grocery chains. Instead, we bring in whole beef quarters (or eights), and whole pork sides, delivered fresh by our ranchers. This not only cuts down on cardboard and plastic packaging waste, but most importantly, this allows us to custom-age and custom-cut our meat to your specifications. Just ask us, and we'll let you see what a traditional meat cooler should look like!
Our Fresh Cases
Like most butcher shops, we feature two fresh cases in the center of our store. But what sets us apart is the meat inside! We feature harder-to-find cuts such as Picanha, Flatiron, Korean-Short Ribs, Denver, Bavette, and Outside Skirt-Steak, Osso Bucco, and much more, in addition to traditional roasts and steaks. Also, anything you see in our case can be cut to your specifications, and packaged either in paper, or vacuum-sealed. Come discover something new!
